Her eyes flashed with confusion and she bounded after him. "That's all? You say hi, admonish me and the walk away?" She wasnt upset but obviously annoyed with him walking away after saying hello. She sat down, watching him walk away to the other female. She rolled her eyes and thought for a moment; how cliche.  A soft chuckle came from her throat and then laid down, relaxed although she was far away she watched. As interested as she was and intrigued she was guarded and wouldn't just walk up and talk to them. She had been shocked he had even found her. Sitting up she watched with eyes that softened ever so slightly. Walking over she sat down by them but still far enough from them. "So what are your names may I ask?" the eyes in her head were softer than before but still a little hard.

Miquel inwardly laughed, thinking to himself, Two females passed my tests. Now it's just a matter of getting them to join me... He lifted the corners of his mouth a bit and laid back down in his original position. He glanced back over to the new she-wolf and smiled to her. "You see, my dear, Dharma. I'm not looking for simple companions to chat with. I need to add numbers to my pack. And this is truly the only way. After all, aren't you back here already?" He said to her softly. "The both of you?" He smiled proudly and rested his head on the ground when she moved even closer to them and sat down, appearing completely at home. "However, names, given the circumstances, I am willing to share. I am Miquel. And this is... um..." He hadn't a clue just yet...

Were an eyebrow should have been on her face raised when he started to say the other females name. "Interesting" she mumbled softly. Her tail wrapped around her paws. Her eyes rolled slightly, amused that he didn't know her name. At the moment she was ignoring his explanation abou chatting, numbers and more things. She had never been interested in things like packs and so she didn't pay attention to it. She looked to the other female, her scarred head and face flashed with an emotionless look before it became warm once again. Dharma stood, stretched and then laid down. Her head lay on her paws and her eyes flashed from each wolf to the next

" Semper Fidelis. It means Always faithful." I said." You can just call me Semp, or Fi." I nodded graciously." And i would like to join you, if you'll have me." I looked at the other She-wolf inquisitively fo rher reply. I also wondered if we were the only members. " is it just uas three, or are there more wolves, in your pack?"

Miquel glanced over from Dharma to the first she-wolf he'd stumbled across and flicked his tail slightly. "So, Fi (i think it sounds prettier lol) and Dharma, then," he said with a small, almost smug smile. And it all just got better for him, what with one wolf already asking to join him without him having to ask her himelf. He smiled towards her and nodded his head but once. "Of course, you may join me and my pack. Granted, it's not all too big in size at the moment, but eventually, I'm sure that it'll be one of the most grand." After all, so far, it was just him and Fi. Dharma hadn't yet implied that she had any interest in joining his pack. And he wasn't about to invite her to join him if she wouldn't pull her weight and add her support and strength to the pack...

Dharma watched them and had the urge to roll her eyes when Finasked to join his pack. Dharma noticed the look from the other(cnt remember if Fi or Miq looked at her) and shrugged. "Don't look at me. Packs aren't my thing. Too cliche" She sat up and tipped her head to the side and then sighed. " Granted thats mostly because I'm not interested in being bossed around." Although her tone was slightly teasing in a way her eyes stayed that same serious emotion. She wouldn't admit that she wouldn't mind being in a pack although in the back of her head she knew she would slightly enjoy being in one. Rolling over onto her back she watched them with a scarred face. "I wonder if Chani is still alone." She said the words to herself and then shrugged

Miquel shook his head after hearing Dharma's point of view on packs. "Then why, my dear, are you still here, exactly?" He asked her with an almost stern look. "I have already, in fact, explained my reasons for still keeping you here. And that is for you to join me." Now, he wasn't a forcer. He wasn't going to threaten her to join him or else he'd force her or kill her. All he asked was that she make up her mind. "Just do something for me. Either stay and accept that pack life- which, let me remind you is the only life- or be on your way. I'd simply prefur not to waste my time on a lost cause, when I could do more things with someone who's already decided." He flashed a small smile towards Fi, resting his head down on the ground again, and lightly shut his eyes in thought...

Her eyes locked to his in a cold expression and she stood. The scarred female walked forward and shrugged. "Because Miquel this is where my searching took me." A flash of anger and disgust twisted in her face and eyes. " You are wrong. It is not the only life." She didn't even cast her eyes upon him- knowing the emotion in them; disgust, anger and disapointment. " I don't know why I thought you of all would understand that. Your just like the others." This time her eyes met his and she had no expression in them but he three before so she turned and walked away, stalking through the underbrush.
(sorry for the outburst-Dharms is sensitive about packs and says what she feels/thinks.)

(no problem :) it's fun lol. it gives my rp skills a challenge hahaha. that, and it tests my charrie's ability 2 keep her where he wants her :P also, Lao. u gotta post on our other topic! with Colt lol)

Miquel opened his eyes when he heard the brown she-wolf stand and sat up slightly. He listened to her words and growled softly, pinning his ears. "Like I told you before. Your brother and father are no where even remotely close to here. And with that in mind, your search should've led you elsewhere, instead of following me back to my land," he said to her, matching the same stern tone of voice he'd used just moments before.  He saw the anger and disgust in her eyes and inwardly winced. He'd never wanted to be hated by a she-wolf. But it seemed like no matter who he knew, they'd end up hating him at some point in his life. He wasn't what they wanted in a male. One of those pathetic, jumpy ones that acted on love. He didn't get how males like them could get all of the she-wolves for their packs and yet, someone strong and couragous like him had only one so far. "And if pack life is not the only life out there for a wolf, then please. Kindly share what you you think is the best path for you..." But she didn't answer. Instead, she walked away from him and back into the bushes he'd found her in. He narrowed his eyes and shook his head. "Good luck in your search," he called after her, resting his head back down in the grass...

She growled sofly to herself before calling back to him. "I don't need luck!" She mumbled something about just needing faith. Dharma sighed softly glancing back at the two. "My idea of life?" She was talking softly to herself as she asked the question before answering. "Is not a pack; maybe  friends or family that are together but not a pack. Pack. What a silly word." She looked at her scars, wondering if being in a pack would have left her beautiful like her sister Chani. Dharma looked at the slanted tree she was walking to. The roots were tied in knots that even a mouse couldnt fit in to. The tree slanted up and rested on another. With a single leap Dharma landed on the rough wood. The sable wolf laid down and watched the distance. She was on the border of Miquel's lands. She could barely see him in the distance but could make out his figure

The whole time Dharma spoke, the grey male held a monotonous expression on his face. But the way her eyes dug into him with the harsh emotions she was feeling continued to eat at him. He wasn't made of stone. He just acted like it. He pinned his ears slightly and lifted up his head, glancing in the direction she'd gone, barely making her out on the log she was laying on. He sighed and stood up, shaking out his coat before padding his way towards where she was. When he reached her, he jumped up onto the log she was on and laid down a few steps away from her. "What exactly do you think a pack is?" He asked her softly, refurring to the way she said she wanted only friends and family that are close. "Do you think that in a pack, everyone hates each other? Maybe some packs are like that. But not mine, nor any others I've known. It just takes some getting used to." Why she was so defensive on the topic, he didn't know. But, maybe it had to do with the scars she had all over her body. That, or it was the lack of a pack that resulted in them...

"Yes as a matter of fact I do think that." Her eyes drifted to her scars. "I would have died." She mumbled to herself and curled up in a tight ball though her eyes peered at him. "Then he packs you've met are rare." Closing her eyes she ignored the burning of her scars. And then sighed. "Miquel? When a member gets hurt do the others help them or save them?" Her eyes were gaurded slightly though they rested on her scars. "My brother and sister found me on the brink of death after a fight. I don't remember much but the pain and remembering thinking it was a pack attacking me. I had been young, maybe even a little naive. Anyways my brother took care of me and my sister told me something that I, at the time, thought wise. She told me that all packs are the same and heartless but friends and family are caring." Dharma's eyes were cast down at the gound and her expression wasn't it's normal hard and strong one but more vulnerable and saddened. "Ever since the attack I've feared packs-not knowing if one of the attacks lived in the pack or if th pack I was by would kill me." She felt a shock and let out a low growl. " Don't tell anyone what I jus told you." she growled the words but her voice softened when she finished. "Please"

Miquel lifted up his head from his paws to watch her and he felt his eyes wander towards her scars when her own did. He shook his head at her words and said, "You shouldn't let one back experience harm your thoughts of all packs. Give it a chance. Good packs aren't as rare as you'd think." He then tilted his head to the side slightly and gave her a small smile. "You know, in packs like mine, we specifically choose the most strong, brave, hardy wolves for members. It means that in such an event that one of us is hurt, everyone must help. No matter what the cost." At first, he thought she was just testing his theory on packs. But then she shared the traumatizing story of the origin of her scars. He sighed softly and slowly inched his way towards her, pulling himself along on his stomach. He stopped beside her and said, "When I'm told a secret, I keep it to myself. You won't have to worry." He then lowered his head slightly and added, "And you don't have to worry about being in packs either. All you need to do is find the one that suits you best; the one that has the wolves you like in it, the one that you'd spend the rest of your life in. Because most of the time... when you pick a pack, things progress." He smiled reassuringly to her and then stood up, jumped off of the log, and walked back in the direction of Fi and his land. What he said was true. Now it was just a matter of getting her to believe it...

( Chizzz.. i've been gone so long i don't now how to jump back in.. beside.. well, hang on.. .maybe i cna work some of my magic.. i doubt it though :P)

Fi sat, listening to them arguoing back and forth, and then settled down, on the ground as they walked away. She was excited, No more fending for herself, no more traveling alone. Even if Dharma didn't join there was still Miquel. She pricked her wears as she heard a wol freturning, already memorizing miquels footfall patterns. She gave a warm welcome-back bark adn stood up, wagging her tail slightly. " Well?" She ****ed her head interested.
