Miquel's eyes instantly focused on the she-wolf when she stepped out from the underbrush with pinned ears. He lowered his head slightly and growled deep in the back of his throat, but on the inside, he was smirking. Already, he was off to a good start in finding a she-wolf that was protective of herself and wise about it. "It would be my territory, yes," he said to her, taking a step towards her. After that, her tense stance loosened just a bit, enough to make her look less threateningly. The male blew through his nose softly and lifted up his head to it's normal height. His tail was still raised to show his dominance over her, but he made no effort to show that should she step out of line, she'd still live to tell the tale. He walked towards her with slow steps, making her see that he wasn't chasing her off just yet, and made a small circle around her. "You have no male with you?" He asked, his misty eyes meeting her's. He put his guard down for a few minutes, sitting down a few feet away from her and wrapping his tail around himself, still looking over her (btw, do you happen to have a pic of her that i can see? lol). He took in her frame- smaller than his, but still having the potential to carry great strength within it. He took in her eyes- the way they clouded over to hide true emotion, though still had a way of sharing the light. He took in the appearance of her face- showing the true picture of a leader in the way she had reacted simply to me. He smiled and relaxed his stance even more until he was in his normal, relaxed stance. "What had brought you out to these parts, my dear?" He asked her softly, letting go of his challenging voice and replacing it with that of a normal, caring male. "Surely my call was not the only thing." He figured that getting to know her before getting up and personal with names and such was the best route to go in this situation...
