Well, first off, welcome to Hesturax! This animal Role-Play is something that many have attempted to make - and failed - but finally, here is one that hasn't! Applause!

What is Role Play?

Role-Play is similar to writing a story, however instead of just you writing the story, another person is too. This story can consist of numerous players, however, generally, most 'stories' have around three.
Role-Play is also a learning activity in which you assume a role to practise a variety of language skills. You need to know how to spell correctly, where grammar is needed, etc, but if you don't, it's wise to read through posts and study before posting. An example:

The night was as dark as her body, as the stygian mare wondered through the lands. Her bright brown eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as she entered the Evil's lands. However, soon came along another and another, until the small mare was surrounded by at least twenty horses. The mare hiccuped, but stood very still as one of the stallions neared her...
Snapping out of her fantasy, the mare sighed as she realised she was back on her own kin's lands. Yes, certainly there had been a dream within the fantasy, her want to be in another's land, but even now, she wished...
Calling out for somebody to take away her sudden depression, she whickered, shortly, more towards the Evil's lands...

You type up stories, so to say and wait for some to reply. So say if you had a wolf and you wrote about how he looks and stuff then you say he calls out for something. Then you wait for someone else to reply with another animal and they will reply to it as though they heard your wolfs howl.

None the less, Role-Playing can help you with punctuation as well as bettering your imagination and maturing you. From personal experience, reading other's posts can help your vocabulary grow as well as better your own posts with ideas from others.
